Atmosphere was great! Love the music, good place to hangout with your friends especially there are activities you can do while waiting (arcade, board games, piano, mini golf) Food was expensive! But overall I will give it 4/5 stars!
We had our breakfast here in Sestra during our Zambales Trip. We ordered shawarma rice, carbonara, and their spam silog. Portion size was okay and my partner and I were able to share our meals with each other. Spam rice is just normal, shawarma woth rice is good I just wished there's more sauce to add more flavor. Carbonara was perfect not sweet not salty just perfectly creamy with ham on top. Their diner is spacious and it's open so the air flows well. We also tried their french toast match with iced coffee when we are about to go. I can say I really wasn't a fan of their coffee but maybe it's just me. They accept cash and gcash only.
Honestly love the vibe here at Sestra! Food and coffee are priced just right. Great quality and generous yung servings nila. One of my fave spots cos of the overall vibe the place gives off! They also have wifi and they’re pet-friendly too. I recommend trying all the food they serve haha
I ordered their French Toast with Egg and Bacon, plus a Spanish Latte. I would have preferred the toast to be a bit more toasted, although the soft and fluffy style was good too. The Spanish Latte was very light and warm to the taste, but the caffeine hits after, which is a nice compliment. I’ve been here a couple of times already, and they’ve always been consistent with their good music choices and servings. note: on the expensive side
We visited Sestra Liwa on a quiet weekday morning, and the space was calm and peaceful, perfect for a slow start to the day. The café has a cozy and stylish vibe that fits well with Liwa’s laid-back energy. When we placed our order, we were told that their coffee machine was having issues and that coffee might take about 30 minutes to prepare. Unfortunately, our drinks arrived even later than that, but to be fair, the wait was worth it. I got the Iced Spanish Latte and it was honestly one of the better ones I’ve had, even compared to some cafés in the city. Smooth, creamy, and well-balanced in flavor. We also tried their Brunch Platter, which featured Chicken Tapa. The tapa was definitely not the usual kind, it resembled a dry-style humba without the soy sauce. While it was unique, the flavor didn’t really stand out and felt a bit underwhelming given the creativity. The overall portion was okay, but considering the price point, it felt a little too steep for what was served. There’s also a service charge on top of the listed prices, so it adds up quickly. All in all, Sestra Liwa is a lovely spot with promising coffee and a nice atmosphere. Worth a visit if you’re not in a rush and just want to enjoy a quiet morning in Liwa :)
I love the place and their coffee! It's very Instagrammable and has a cozy, relaxing vibe. A must-visit spot if you're heading to or already in Liwliwa!
